Heather Wilkey
Biography
From the age of 12 years old, I studied classical voice with Manhattan College of Music faculty and classical theater with Raphael Kelly, director of the Roundabout Theater Company. I performed in operetta clubs, improv tv shows, live tv, and private reads for off Broadway shows. I performed at Lincoln Center’s Amahl and the Night Visitors and was soloist at CAMI Hall. I've studied with Cynthia Gibb and renowned vocal coach Don Lawrence and voice overs with Debi Derryberry.
There is something very unique about being part of the voice over industry. Every project is so different, and when all these different types of artists come together in creating a project, it is very magical! My voice over work has given me the opportunity to create several different types of exciting characters for recurring clients. A favorite has been "tough kid." I played Coco Chanel for a video game & voiced Mary Kawena Pukui's character for a PBS documentary with an award winning film maker. Some of my clients include Jiu Animation and Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden, Qwave Films, Enuma, Inc., Mixhits Radio Commercial for Pearl Wellfleet, Locutortv, Pfizer and Cocosolis Organic. I enjoy song writing and was runner up for the Song of the Year contest for "You Touch My Heart."
